Angelica was born and raised in Bogotá – Colombia.
Her background is Modern Languages and Fashion Design. After graduating in College she worked as a teacher and started her own Fashion Design Company.
For ten years she worked with a United Nations project connecting people to do business all around Central and South America organizing business networking events.
From 2014 to 2016 she worked with the Ministry of Science, Technology and In-novation in Colombia monitoring the implementation of projects and evaluating contracts and disbursements of more than $ 5 million and involved with custom-er care.
After visiting Costa Rica almost every summer since 1997, in 2016 she decided to move to Tamarindo to enjoy the Pura Vida life style leaving behind the rush of the big city of Bogota. When she first moved to Costa Rica she started managing a popular and well known hotel in Playa Grande, being there Angelica was introduced to sales through the Concierge Service and Property Management.
February of 2019 she decided to join our team at Hidden Coast Realty working as a sales assistant and property management.
Angélica is passionate about helping people, and can be contacted in both Spanish and English.

We loved the hybrid of indoor bedrooms adjoined with outdoor pool/courtyard and the semi-outdoor living room, kitchen, and dining room—even better in person than the photos! It’s very well equipped for a relaxing stay, with everything you need: kitchen basics, pots/pans/dishes, laundry machines, a grill, beach towels
and chairs. We interacted with Angelica and Christian, both of whom were super friendly and very responsive. Location is great—a quiet area walkable to all the shops/restaurants in the touristy hub of Tamarindo and just a couple minutes walk from a quiet beach. One of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica was this beautiful place.

We made an offer on a house that did not go through. Joost reassured us that is wasn’t meant to be. Which led us to the best find ever. A 2 bedroom 2 bath steps from the beach. We were in the U.S. when our offer was accepted. Since we were outside of Costa Rica we relied heavily on Joost and his long term experience in Guanacaste. He did not disappoint. We arrived 10 days after closing meeting Christian with keys in hand. Joost had taken it upon himself to cover the utilities and pool maintenance until we arrived. What a relief to arrive in our new home with power, water, and a clean pool. Bruno at Hidden Coast was the most helpful agent that we found whilst trying to find a long-term rental in the Tamarindo area. He responded quickly to all of our queries, immediately found us a selection of appropriate houses to view, assisted with getting utilities set up and went out of his way to assist us when some major problems came up out of hours. We found that he went far above and beyond anything that we would expect from someone helping with lettings and we’ll definitely be talking to both Bruno and Hidden Coast again soon. Coming from the UK it was completely novel to have a real estate agent actually try and help us – rather than work against us. It was genuinely the first time that we felt we had someone on our side trying to help us get the property we wanted. We briefly worked with Joost at the office when Bruno was away over a weekend and found him to be just as helpful.
