Steven has called San Juanillo home since 2007, but his story with Costa Rica began long before that.
Originally from rural Minnesota, Steven fell in love with the Guanacaste coast back in 1999. After years living in Colorado—where he studied at the University of Colorado Boulder and worked in sales—he made the bold decision to start building his dream home in San Juanillo in 2000, completing it just two years later.
Over the years, Steven has become one of the most knowledgeable voices in the greater San Juanillo area. His professional background spans project management, home building and remodeling, landscaping, property management, hotel and restaurant operations, and real estate development—giving him a unique, hands-on understanding of both the land and the lifestyle this region offers.
